Faith, Hope and Courage

Faith, Hope and Courage

Strengths that help families stand tall.

For many Haitian families, faith is a source of comfort and strength. People pray, sing and gather together to feel strong.

A well-loved saying is Bondye bon, which means God is good. It reminds many families to keep hope, even on hard days.

Haitians have shown courage again and again: in the story of independence, in the way neighbors help each other, and in the way families celebrate together.

Hope is like planting a seed. We water it with kindness, patience and teamwork. Families around the world have different beliefs, and we respect them all.
