1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Little Learners Adventure!
Little Learners Adventure ("Little Learners Adventure," "we," "our," or "us") is an educational platform designed to help young children learn through interactive games, educational activities, stories, and creative exploration.
We recognize the importance of protecting children's privacy and providing a safe, age-appropriate learning environment.
This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, stored, shared, and protected when families use our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
We are committed to protecting children's privacy and complying with applicable laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), where applicable.
2. WHO OUR SERVICES ARE FOR
Little Learners Adventure is designed primarily for children ages 2–6, with additional educational resources for parents, guardians, and educators.
Children should use the Services with appropriate parental or guardian supervision.
The Parents Zone is intended for adults.
3. INFORMATION WE PROCESS
A. Learning Progress and Achievements
Our educational activities may store information such as:
- Completed learning activities
- Stars and educational rewards
- Game progress
- Learning preferences
- Locally saved settings
The mobile app is designed to store learning progress and stars locally on the user's device.
Locally stored information is not automatically transmitted to us solely because it is saved on the device.
B. Information Provided by Parents
If a parent or guardian contacts us, submits a support request, or uses an optional adult-facing feature, we may process information voluntarily provided, such as:
- Parent or guardian name
- Email address
- Support message
- Information needed to respond to a request
Parents should not include unnecessary personal information about children in support requests.
C. Technical Information
Depending on the technology used to operate the Services, technical information may be processed by our hosting providers or other service providers.
Such information could include IP addresses, browser information, device characteristics, and security or error logs.
The specific data collected by the production website, mobile apps, and integrated third-party services must be verified and accurately disclosed.
4. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
Where applicable, we process information to:
- Provide educational activities and learning experiences
- Save settings and learning progress
- Maintain website functionality
- Respond to parent or guardian support requests
- Protect the security and integrity of the Services
- Diagnose technical problems
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not authorize the use of children's personal information for behavioral advertising or unrelated commercial profiling.
5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY AND PARENTAL CONSENT
Protecting children's privacy is a fundamental priority.
We aim to minimize personal information collected from children and provide educational experiences without requiring unnecessary personal details.
Where applicable law requires verifiable parental consent before collecting, using, or disclosing children's personal information, we will obtain that consent before engaging in the relevant activity.
Parents and guardians may contact us to request information about personal data associated with their children, seek deletion of information we maintain, or withdraw consent where applicable.
If a feature cannot be operated lawfully without required parental consent, that feature will not be made available until the necessary consent process is implemented.
6. ADVERTISING AND IN-APP PURCHASES
Little Learners Adventure is intended to prioritize children's safety over advertising or commercial engagement.
The availability of advertising, in-app purchases, subscriptions, and related third-party services must be confirmed for each published version.
Any advertising or purchasing features must comply with applicable children's privacy laws, Google Play Families policies, and Apple requirements.
Purchasing opportunities and external commercial links within child-directed experiences must be protected by appropriate safeguards.
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS
We may use service providers to support essential website and application functions, such as hosting, security, or technical maintenance.
Before deployment, we will assess relevant service providers and their data practices.
We will require appropriate protections for children's information where applicable.
A verified list of material third-party services and their privacy practices should be made available or incorporated into this Policy before launch.
8. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the information being processed.
Such measures may include access controls, secure communications, software updates, and restrictions on authorized access.
No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.
Learning progress stored locally may be lost when an application is uninstalled, browser storage is cleared, or a device is reset.
9. DATA RETENTION
Locally stored learning progress remains on the user's device until it is reset, deleted, or otherwise removed by device or application behavior.
Information submitted by parents or guardians will be retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Specific retention periods for server logs, support messages, and other records must be established based on the final production systems.
10. PARENTAL RIGHTS AND DATA REQUESTS
Depending on applicable law and the information we maintain, parents and guardians may request to:
- Review personal information collected from their children
- Request correction or deletion
- Withdraw previously provided consent
- Ask questions about data processing
- Request information about our privacy practices
We may need to verify the requesting adult's identity and authority before disclosing or deleting information.
11. LOCAL DATA DELETION
Where learning progress is stored only on a user's device, parents may be able to delete it through the app's progress-reset controls or by clearing the relevant application data.
Clearing data or uninstalling an app may permanently remove locally saved progress.
Deleting local data does not necessarily delete any separate information maintained by hosting, support, or other service providers.
12. EXTERNAL LINKS
The Parents Zone may include links to educational resources from organizations such as the CDC, the American Academy of Pediatrics, UNICEF, and NAEYC.
External websites operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
Links that lead children outside the educational environment should be protected through appropriate parental safeguards.
13. INTERNATIONAL USERS
Our Services may be accessible outside the United States.
Additional privacy requirements may apply depending on the user's location.
Where required, we will provide appropriate notices, rights, and consent mechanisms for applicable jurisdictions.
14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Services, applicable laws, or data practices.
The revised policy will be published with an updated effective date.
Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain renewed consent.
